 Hello,

hope this is not in the wrong thread, just registered now to ask this question.

Last night we played Risk, and the game ended with one person completing his mission "Conquer Australia, Europe and one other continent" .

But simultaneously, with his last move, he destroyed the yellow army, who had his last soldiers in Europe. Now, a third player had the mission to extinguish the yellow army.

Both Missions were won in the same move.

Is there an official ruling for who won the game?

Is it a draw?

Would be great if someone could help!

Best,
GMT

Looks like a draw to me. In many board games when players can win with achieving different goals, the game continues for one complete round so that it is fair to everyone. In Risk, the game usually finishes when a game state is reached by anyone in any given turn. However if two players meet their objectives in a single turn, it is fair to say that they they are the winners and that is a draw between them. I am not sure what exactly is the rule on this in the rule guide, but I wouldn't worry about it you should always consider having your own house rules to play the game the way you want to play it. That's what makes Risk so much fun.
