I read the book when it first came out and I really enjoyed it. For some reason I tend to enjoy reading about Risk strategies and think about all sorts of ways to conquer others. The book is very unique in that respect and I am very happy that it was written.

What I am wondering now is if there will be another book on this that extends the first book and goes into more detail on all aspects of Risk such as strategy or diplomacy. I also like all the psychological tactics and have been very impressed with them. It would be great if you could add more of this type of content to the book, although you already had quite a bit on this in the first book.

Thanks again for considering this if it is not already in the pipeline

An eager fan

Thanks for your really positive comments about my book. As for another book on this topic, I get requests like yours and I usually explore new content that fans could potentially benefit from. I can't give any specific promises on a new book at this point, though it is always possible that I may decide to go ahead and write another book on Risk. I will certainly consider your request on diplomacy and psychology. I think these topics are worth a lot more exploration and in the context of Risk can be quite novel to explore. What I have always found is that Risk is a game that touches on many areas and it is not just a pure logic game. This complexity makes it quite amusing and it is this "reality factor" that makes the game so inspirational and useful to learn and master new emotional skills that can be used in everyday life.

Thanks for your feedback again. I shall let you know of any new potential developments on a new book.

"The book is very methodical in walking you through a number of scenarios. For example you may want to negotiate with another player. What should you say? How should you say it? What should you not say? How not to get emotional when you need to stay focused. Any Risk player will find himself or herself in such situations and will benefit from the book....I also greatly enjoyed the discussion on dynamics of the game. Now I have a completely different view of back stabbing in Risk. A quality....

Overall this book covers almost everything a player needs to know about winning in Risk."

Hello guys, I am a new member here. A few weeks ago, I was searching the net for a good book about the game of Risk and mostly about strategy. I found the Total Diplomacy book on amazon and decided to buy it. I just received it and I started to read it and I have to say I am impressed.

I will have to write a review also when I will finish the book.
