Ok, So i have a game this friday (4 days from now)And i need advice, when

the game is starting and we are placeing our units(soldiers, men w/e) I need

to kno wut 2 do......See ive played in the past with these 2 guys and they

almost never, ever in the start go for Europe, asia or Australia......Now

usually there will be alot of action going around for north america and

africa......But i was thinkin maby i should go for Europe at the beggining

first then Australia or should i get Australia first then

Europe.....Thoughts,comments,concerns keep in mind were all pretty much

begginers but we know the basics.

Depends how experienced they are. If they are experienced, then try to be isolated, far way, like australia. If not so experienced, (like equal) then Europe is great. But anyone going for europe in my opinion should be someone who is very vocal. You should just about talk continuously and try to guide the direction of the game just by words. A person in europe sitting quietly would have no chance.

Just try to be active in the political scene and make a difference. Like the active world leaders of the real-world ....

In my opinion, i would go for Australia then Asia no matter what. Even if the other players are good or not, you should stay away from them and expand when possible. Why waste units when its not needed? also, Asia will offer all the troop bonuses you need, and once the other two players have eroded each others armies, you can come in for the kill.

My vote is go for Europe and Asia. If you're aggresive and you attack constantly, Europe is perfect. It connects with all but two continents, so it's a great jump off point for attacks in any direction. Be careful though, because there are a lot of ways into Europe, so defending it is a headache. Asia works too, I guess, but it's even more aggravating to defend, and there's a lot more territories to fight over. Plus, you could build up a fall back point in Australia, and if things go seriously wrong, you could fortify Australia like there's no tommarrow and get ready to burst back onto the scene.

NOTE: I have no experience with diplomacy whatsoever, so keep that in mind if you're going to follow my advice.

two problems:

a) europe and asia combined are a little too big for a 3 player game

b) dont waste troops on places where they fight, it will become an erosion between two players, and one of your enemies will be able to finish you both off.
