First off, each person has all 180 armies in their hand. It is up to the players to do random territory or grab. Place the armies anywhere you like.

Then, if you have no armies in the reinforcement box, you cannot reinforce. This encourages you to lose at least the amount of troops you are about to gain.

Sounds like a blood bath or a standoff. Is this really a fun way to play? I would just put all 180 armies in one territory and let 'er rip.

Well if you are playing 6 players (the more bloody battles) you get 7 territories each, with 173 to spare. If it's 3 player you get 14 territories each so 166 armies to spare. There are 40 infantry, 12 calvary, 8 artillery so you get 180 armies per color. Of course you could play two player but it's gonna take a long time.

So this is more like a fighting game rather than a growth game. I guess you get a few big fights and then someone gets killed. So long that it is not you, the game will be fun.

The more armies the more it is like chess, that is no luck. If you combine this with Quite Fair Turn Ored and Quite Fair Dice&Cards and Frozen Allies luck is wiped out altogether.
