Just finished reading the book. It was fantastic. Let me first congratulate you on writing this comprehensive and entertaining book on Risk. I quite liked all the tactical examples as well as all the psychological tricks.

The stories are very amusing and the book is easy to read and never gets tiring. The part that I found most engaging was all the analysis with the turtle strategy and what happens when you play Risk repeatedly. Absolutely A++. I cant get enough of this sort of analysis. Its just very cool.

I wish the book had even more examples and scenarios, but that's fans for you. They just want more. :-) I will watch the scenario section on the site for more though. Keep up the good work.

I like Risk very much and I play with my flatmates regularly. My friends don't know about the book yet, so I am going to use my new found tricks on them and win every time. Mooooohahahahhaha.

Glad that you enjoyed the book. Yes, certainly I also think that examples are the best way to learn. There will be more scenarios and walkthroughs in the future. Check back regularly to find out.

Enjoy your games and your new found powers ...

I am not sure what you (cyray7) mean here . The book is available from Amazon.com, Amazon.uk and Amazon.ca as well as other online bookshops such as Borders, Target and others.  If you want to buy the book, you should simply use these sites. Its hassle free. If you are based in US, this should be easy. Let me know if I can help further.

I'd like to second what The Player has said. Total Diplomacy revolutionized my approach to Risk, and also gave me some ideas for some great reads (Read Machiavelli's The Prince with Risk in mind the whole time, and it really helped). Total Diplomacy is not only great because it shows how to Negotiate, but also when, where, and why to negotiate. The actually tactics and strategies also added another dimension to my playing. But my favorite part had to be the scenarios. It is one thing to read on how to play Risk well, but to be shown how to play Risk well is quite another thing and that helped and excited me the most. To those of you who enjoy Risk with a passion, this book is a necessity. Thank you Dr. Honary, for this intellectual, elaborate, and well stocked book!

The book is good. This is really helpful for all the gamers. The best thing about the total diplomacy is its examples. You can understand the game and strategy with the help of the examples in the book. Truly this is a great book. Congratulation for the success of the book.
