I had this really great idea that I was thinking about as I walked to school the other day. You know how scenarios are so darn popular on this website? Well, I was thinking that maybe, if it is not too difficult, you could have a tutorial or a template that shows people how they can design their own maps and such to make their own scenarios. I have tried to make a few maps of the risk board on my own, but have found it difficult, and i like your maps a lot that you use in the scenarios. It would be cool if we could use your map design and input values to display a situation we were in while playing Risk. Just an idea, if it needs more clarification let me know.

Glad that you like the scenarios. There will be more to come, so stay tuned ....

Yes, I am aware of the need for this feature and I think there can be many players who would benefit from it. I like to make it easy however, so you dont have to go through a whole lot of design just to describe your game. An image of a board helps a lot. Also a sequence of moves can be good as well since it shows the history of the game. So, yes, these are work in progress. Thanks for the feedback though.

last summer me and my brother came up with an idea, mixin money into risk, like this you could sell countries and just retreat from there, and with money you could buy battalions it might be kinda weird but its an idea

The scenarios are great and I hope we can have lots and lots of them.  Having a scenario editor program is a great idea and one that I would be willing to pay for as software on my computer so I can crank them out in many varieties.  The program should have a zoom capability so you can either do global strategy or focus in on a localized conflict.

The program should be able to used for different phases in the game, especially the initial phase of placing armies on the board.  Having a place where you can practice your set-up would be great.  Even have Chess-like quizzes or have a fill-in-the-blank kind of scenario that can be added onto after enough time has passed so eventually the scenario gets played out by multiple people over many days to arrive at the final solution.

Even a game section where you start with a blank map and players just go in and practice their placements.  You would not have to come up with an AI or even a full Risk game, just the inital placement part that can be played live, in a chat room, over email or on the website.

Then having maps/scenarios/games that you can use for reinforcing those territories after initial placement but before the first attack turn happens.  Practing this dance is just as important as the territories you pick, because if you do a poor job, you can be out before you even get to attack (this happened to me, yes, once when I was last to go in a 6 player game.  Real bummer.)

Having this software at home on my desktop will also give me the time and flexibility to really flesh out some good scenarios for the website and the community as well with my friends or even just for myself.

Thanks for your suggestions Grant. I am formulating these concepts and will certainly consider the above suggestions. They are very useful.
I am an advocate of learning by example, so certainly an interactive approach is the way forward. I will focus on this shortly.
